Te Mana Nui Safari Tour

For my 8-hour Safari Te Mana Nui tour, we cross Tahiti Nui from Papenoo to Mataiea, from the north to the south of the island. We will talk to you about plants, stories of the island, culture and of the Maohi people. We will be talking to you about Mana.

We will visit some sacred places, and take time for a few photo stops. A swimming stop is planned, weather permitting.

The tours take place in love, joy, good humor and respect. Pickups are made between 7:15 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. depending on where people are located.

The meal is not included in the tour, we can stop at a snack bar or store so that you can buy your snacks according to your tastes or, you can also come with your own meal and drinks. A seasonal fruit tasting is planned.

Regarding the Tour Te Mana Nui for the crossing of Tahiti Nui: - The tour will last about 8 hours.

- Plan to go to the bathroom before the tour.

- Bring something to cool off and swim in the river.

- A seasonal fruit tasting will be offered to you on the tour

- Lunch is not included in the tour.

- For lunch, we can stop at a snack bar or store so that you can buy snacks according to your tastes. You can also come with your own meal, cooler and drinks, etc.

- Your guide is very respectful, please remain respectful towards him and all other passengers.

- You must be between 3 and 70 years old, minors are accompanied by a parent or adult or must provide parental or guardian authorization.

- Unless extreme weather conditions prevent us, or if the authorities and police forces of the country prohibit us from accessing the valley, the excursions take place with the rain or the sun.

- The weather, the river, falling trees or mountain slides could prevent us from continuing the crossing.

- If, however, we are unable to make the crossing on the day of the excursion, we can offer you a tour of the island of Tahiti so as not to waste your day or, return to the starting point with a refund partial of the reservation. Or even postpone the excursion to another date depending on everyone's availability. - We ask you to be respectful towards the vehicle and to take care of it, any damage will be your responsibility.

- We could have a delay of 20 minutes, depending on traffic or waiting for customers. Please be assured that we will express our sincerest apologies for the delay. However, if on the day of the excursion we are more than 30 minutes late, we will inform you without further delay and apologize.

- Please be present 5 minutes before pick-up time. We will only wait 15 minutes, out of respect for all other passengers. After this time, the tour will be done without you.

 

CANCELLATIONS:

 

Cancellations are made 48 hours in advance, with possible postponement to another date or refund of the reservation. NO refund will be made if canceled last minute or within 24 hours before the day of the excursion.

The road is damaged in certain places, this excursion is NOT RECOMMENDED for:

- people with reduced mobility or who have serious physical problems (back problems, surgical operations),

- people suffering from heart problems or asthma,

- people over 70 years old,
